New Member Inducted: Ruben Ladlad

President Kim Shrader (L) welcomes new member Ruben Ladlad (R) and his sponsor Jim Owens.

Ruben L. Ladlad, a past president of the Tukwila Rotary Club, cast his lot with the BBRC on Friday, becoming the Club’s 120th member. Ruben’s classification is “Banking-Business.” His sponsor is Jim Owens, and co-sponsor is Dick Clarke.

Jim introduced Ruben to the Club by repeating what Ruben said about his introduction. “Just say I’m a Banker and a Christian.” His wife is Maria and they have one child, 8-year old Anne Marie. The family lives in Renton, while Ruben works in the regional banking center for Wells Fargo in Bellevue.

Some of Ruben’s past activities include St. James ESL program, a past United Way Loaned Executive, the Tukwila Food Pantry, and the Bruno Betty Foundation. He is particularly fond of community and international service within Rotary. Ruben also enjoys golf and swimming.
