Deasy is a Ruby
For his long service to Rotary and annual support to the Rotary Foundation, Don Deasy was presented with a ruby pin, recognizing Deasys contributions of at least $7000. Chuck Barnes made the presentation and used the occasion to push for 100% participation by the club. Weve now donated $18,000. Thats about $10,000 shy of our goal. Chuck stressed that any contributions made during April would get a match of those dollars. So far, 11 BBRC members have participated, totaling $3500. So far, 68 members have contributed to the annual fund. That leaves about 40 members who have not made their wishes known. Become a contributing member of the Annual Fund at $100 a year. Just two weeks left in the challenge. If you believe in Rotary, you should be a part of the RI Foundation. 60% of the funds collected go back to the Districts, and 40% to RI. Shoot for the stars! Go for it! |
