New Member Experience (NME)

Dan Lewis says farewell to the New Member group, as his year is up. Dan attended his final meeting at Jitter’s after learning all he could about how the BBRC operates. He heard first-hand from Heart Throb Bob Moloney, who told the eleven people present all about the successful Annual Valentine’s Dinner, slated for February 15, and sign-ups are going on right now. In fact, Bob got three filled-out forms before he left last Tuesday!

John Mix, Club Administrator, gave the seven new members present a quick run-through of the various reports that are available through the Club’s software, Clubmate, and stressed the importance of attendance and attending a District Conference and other Conference events.

Wayne McCaulley is set to shepherd this activity for another year, which caused a visit by President-Elect 2003-2004 Norm Johnson. The New Member Experience has been in place for about five years and is an integral part of bringing new members up to speed as they work through the first year as a member. The group meets the first Tuesday of every month at Jitter’s in the Overlake Shopping Center.
