Student of the Month

David DeanAnother outstanding student, this time from Bellevue Christian High School, was honored at Friday’s meeting. David Dean, accompanied by his parents Bob and Cheryl Dean and his principal Bill Saystrom, was cited for his accomplishments as a student (GPA 3.99), as an athlete (baseball and basketball), and his indefatigable energy in community service.

David was introduced by Larry May #2 and told a rapt audience how he loved coaching elementary kids. He singled out his travel to Junior Olympics in Florida and the Mariners’ training facility in Peoria as highlights of his baseball career.

David is a member of the Bellevue Christian student senate and President of the school’s Honor Society. This young man is very talented and presented one of the finest resumes’ in the long history of the Student-of-the-Month program.

He closed by praising his teachers at Bellevue Christian and revealed he will enter the UW to study biochemistry, with a career in medical research in mind. Remember the name “David Dean.” He’s a keeper!
