Shanon Magnusson, Career Specialist for Sammamish High School was introduced by Mark Esteb, new Chairperson of the Career Development Committee. Shanon spoke of the
opportunity for employers to offer meaningful summer work for students. “Our students have told us this is the most important program we could sponsor. We’re hoping that Rotary can lend a hand
and find summer jobs for some of our students. This experience will give them a chance to hone their interviewing skills and improve their resumes.”
A Job Fair will again take place soon at Sammamish, an opportunity for Rotary Club members to represent their businesses and professions
before the next generation of employees. More details are forthcoming from Mark.
