Reclassification Talk: Margie Burnett Margie Burnett told the club that shed intended to change her classification several years ago. Just never got around to it. Now, after 10 years in the BBRC, Margie has graduated from Accounting-Small Business to a whole plethora of possibilities! She got the Boards attention last week when she ask for the classification of Topless Dancer, but then turned serious when trying to establish a classification that more closely describes what she does. I have moved during the past several years into a variety of jobs in accounting. Today, Im the Tax Director for HellamVaron, a mid-sized accounting firm in Bellevue. She would like her classification to read: AccountingIndividual and Estate Planning. The badge may not accommodate all those letters. Jay Powers rose to give a paean to Margie Burnett. (That means he was praising her.) He thinks her classification should be Exotic Taxing so as to shake up the boobs at the IRS. Never too far from the edge at the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club. |
