District Membership, Extension & Foundation Workshop
Club Presidents, Club Foundation and Membership chairs, Extension chairs and prior Extension leaders and all interested Rotarians are invited to attend a special workshop on Saturday, October 4, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Lake Washington Technical College in Kirkland. The special guest speaker is Past District Governor Al Frumkin, who will give an address entitled “Growing Rotary-Raising the Bar.”
Three major work areas will receive attention during breakout sessions.
Membership will discuss the RI Prospective Member Referral Program, Using the 3 for 1 Team Approach and Sharing Ideas — what’s been working for individual clubs?
Club Extension will explore “Why Create New Clubs?” and discuss the possible new clubs in our District. They’ll also focus on ideas of where to plant new clubs and how existing clubs can sponsor a new club.
Rotary Foundation session will discuss “Increasing Your Club’s Commitment.” They’ll hear a report from Ambassadorial Scholars, talk about growing the new Paul Harris Society and increasing Foundation Benefactors.
This is an important workshop for all Rotarians involved in the three major interest areas. Plan to attend at the Lake Washington Technical College just south of Totem Lake on 132nd Avenue NE, Saturday morning, October 4, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
