 Services Held For Gail Callan

Services were held last Friday at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue for Gail Callan, wife of BBRC member Robin Callan, who died of breast cancer September 22, 2001, at her home.

Mrs. Callan was born January 14, 1946, in Hackensack, NJ, and married Robin Callan on December 16, 1967, in River Edge, NJ. From 1992 to 2001, she was employed as an office manager, and she was also a member and an elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue.

Mrs. Callan was devoted to her family and was known for her compassion and sense of humor. A role model, she always put family and friends first. According to her family, she loved dogs and thought they were the perfect models for unconditional love.

In addition to her husband, Gail Callan is survived by her sons, Scott, of West Seattle; Chris and Brad, of Bellevue; her daughter, Abigail, of Bellevue; her sister, Susan Bourne, of Annapolis, MD; her brother, Gary Gramkow, of San Diego, CA; her mother, Muriel Gramkow, of Lakehurst, NJ; and one grandchild.
