President Steve Goldfarb has undergone surgery and is recovering nicely at home. President-Elect Kim Shrader handled the President chores and produced a smooth-running meeting.

Vince Lorrain gave the invocation and led the pledge to the flag. Darlene Kiehl welcomed seven visiting Rotarians and orchestrated the introduction of several guests.

RAFFLE UPDATE
Howard Johnson
reported no millionaires yet. “We’re a little slow in our ticket sales, unless you people are sandbagging us. We need to do more. Just $3,050 turned in for the first two weeks. Six teams have turned some tickets in. Evelyn Cogswell's team is in first place” … and she was awarded six Starbucks certificates to distribute amongst her teammembers. The next two sales weekends will be at Redmond QFC.

FOUNDATION PROGRESS

Steve Roberts gave a report on the upcoming process of determining what agencies will be awarded grants from the BBRC Foundation. Roberts distributed a list of agencies and organizations that have applied in the past. “We need your help to identify new organizations and upgrade the ones we have on this list.” The Major Gifts Committee begins work next month.
