 Friday’s Visitors

Tollborn, Kopczynski, Litton
Margareta Troein Töllborn, President Cary Kopczynski, & Karin Litton

Margareta Troein Töllborn was a welcomed visitor at the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club Friday. Margareta , a Rotarian from the Malmo Limhamn (Lime Harbor) Club in Sweden, was visiting her daughter Karin Litton, who lives in Bellevue. Margareta presented her club’s flag to President Cary, remarking that she and Karin used the website to “print out the map which led us to the Glendale Country Club.” The mother-daughter pair sat at the Press Table, elevating the intellectual level by at least 200%.

Brown, Kearns
Dick Brown & Stacy Kearns

Dick Brown attended last month’s Past President’s Dinner. While enjoying the menu and fellowship, the people at his table got into a discussion with their server, Stacy Kearns, who asked, “What is Rotary?” With all of these past presidents gathered, you would think she could get a straight answer! Instead, Dick decided to bring Stacy to Friday’s meeting, so she could see for herself– and she got an eyeful.

Stacy is a WWU graduate with an Environmental Science degree. She was introduced to several Rotarians who might help her find work in her specialty.
