Donn Roberts gave his second classification talk as he begins his second membership with the BBRC. Donn, whose classification is “Air Conditioning-Sales,” joined the BBRC in October of 1986 during its first year of operation. Because of the press of business, Donn was forced to resign in January of 1993. As former Secretary Norm Johnson reported, “Donn returns to the BBRC after an absence of 7 years and 5 months, coming off his first stint as a member which ran for 6 years and 4 months.”

Despite this break in service, Donn has been active in the Club by hosting the annual drawing for the Raffle and supporting the BBRC in that and other activities. He has been married to Pat for 37 years, and they have two sons, Jeffrey and Brian. Donn loves to golf, fish, hunt, and travel.

Roberts Trane is his business, located in Redmond, which deals in commercial air conditioning. “We have expanded into international projects and into such areas as building automation.” He cited work for such companies as Nordstrom, Costco, and Microsoft.

In Donn’s first run at membership, Doug Cameron was his sponsor. This second time, Dick Tschetter has become his sponsor, with Cameron as co-sponsor.
