PIZZA & REFRESHMENTS!

Rotary Minute
President Kopczynski revealed the mystery behind how Rotary got its name. “In 1905, the founding members met in each other’s offices, following Paul Harris’s emphasis on fellowship and occupations. This meant the group ‘rotated’ their meetings. Hence the name of Rotary was applied and was adopted.” Cary, in the spirit of Rotating, asked that this Friday’s meeting see a massive shift in the membership seating arrangement. “Let’s move from our present tables to another spot and have breakfast with another group of Rotarians. Keep the Rotary spirit alive!”

This week’s meeting is at the Glendale Country Club and features Don Gher, Chief Investment Officer of Coldstream Capital. Don takes a look at this week’s election results and reports on “The Impact of the Election on Financial Markets.” Don’t miss Friday’s meeting. Bring a guest!
