Friday Potpourri

With the room abuzz in anticipation and 18 members of the visiting Duvall Rotary Club, President Norm Johnson opened proceedings with an introduction of LeeAnn Wood, who gave the invocation and led the pledge to the flag. Greg Hendershott introduced a couple of visiting Rotarians including Bill Ptacek, soon-to-be the BBRC’s Assistant Governor and a member of the Bellevue Club.

Peter Powell brought some Rotary flags from clubs in Poland and Slovakia, trophies of his trip to Eastern Europe in April.

Bob McNulty reminded members of the discounted cost of $150 available until this Friday for the Golf Outing. Individual participation costs $150 now, and goes up $10 Saturday morning, June 4. Save some bucks! Get that foursome registered this week!

Hans Giner recently returned from France and gave a quick "Bordeaux report." He brought a postcard showing the winemakers inspecting the results of their work.
