ADMIN CORNER

Forty-two members have submitted Directory updates through the new form available in the Member’s Only section on our website. If you want your data listed, get to the form! REMEMBER, when entering the data, USE ONLY THE TAB KEY TO MOVE AROUND THE FORM. Kindly hit the SUBMIT button only ONCE. Just because the button doesn’t talk back to you is no reason to hit it more than once. Each hit results in another form sent to the Club Administrator. If the completed forms had a more colorful pattern, I would save them to paper the bathroom. But, I don’t need all these extra forms. Thanks for sharing!

As for the other 70+ members, you’ve got some work to do. GO TO THE WEBSITE, to MEMBER’S ONLY, CLICK to open, click SUBMIT to offer your ID/PW and the click UPDATE MY INFO. After you’re finished entering your data, click SUBMIT button ONCE! From here on, any updates to the directory will be controlled by YOU! You are now a Certified Junior Web Grunt. Don’t lose your place in line.

x0425FriPotFriday Potpourri

A beautiful spring morning greeted 81 members to Glendale Country Club. After the superb buffet breakfast, President Norm introduced LeeAnn Wood for the invocation and pledge and Hans Giner to welcome guests. There was only one visiting Rotarian, and he wasn’t actually visiting at all! Frank Young kept up his high attendance marks by rising to respond to Hans’ question: “How to you describe the American Dream?” Frank began to pontificate, only to be interrupted rudely by Steven Goldfarb, wielding a $100 bill, saying, “Here’s a $100! Anything to get Frank to sit down!” It worked!

Chris Ballard and Wendi Fischer have at least one thing in common: they share the same birthday. It happened on April 22 a few years ago, when both future Rotarians were born. But, the similarities don’t stop there: they both are celebrating five years as members of the BBRC this month. Unfortunately, John Mix was asked to lead the singing of "Happy Birthday." Not only was he out of tune, so were the rest of the singers. That’s what we get for missing practice.
