ROAR1

THIS WEEK

“Exceeding Customer Expectations,” Brad Worthley, an internationally-acclaimed keynote speaker on customer service and leadership will tell all. He is president of Brad Worthley International, Inc. Bring a guest and find out how to exceed customer expectations, Friday at Glendale Country Club, 7:00 a.m.

ADMIN CORNER

Forty-two members have submitted Directory updates through the new form available in the Member’s Only section on our website. If you want your data listed, get to the form! REMEMBER, when entering the data, USE ONLY THE TAB KEY TO MOVE AROUND THE FORM. Kindly hit the SUBMIT button only ONCE. Just because the button doesn’t talk back to you is no reason to hit it more than once. Each hit results in another form sent to the Club Administrator. If the completed forms had a more colorful pattern, I would save them to paper the bathroom. But, I don’t need all these extra forms. Thanks for sharing!

As for the other 70+ members, you’ve got some work to do. GO TO THE WEBSITE, to MEMBER’S ONLY, CLICK to open, click SUBMIT to offer your ID/PW and the click UPDATE MY INFO. After you’re finished entering your data, click SUBMIT button ONCE! From here on, any updates to the directory will be controlled by YOU! You are now a Certified Junior Web Grunt. Don’t lose your place in line.

Stretch Time for RI Foundation

x0425FoundationThe Three Mouskateers rose as one to cajole the membership into making their RI pledge and commitment as soon as possible. Don Chandler, Dick Brown and Don Deasy — surely a trio to draw to — appeared with the battle cry: “Every Member, Every Year.” Deasy explained that this means that every member of the BBRC is expected to support the Rotary Foundation. “We’re hoping that each member will be able to support the goal of $300 per member this year. But, if you can’t ... we’ll accept more!” Deasy said the Threesome Committee is in “deep doo-doo because we haven’t completed this campaign yet. There are several members who haven’t responded to our pleas. All they’ve done is register goose eggs. You can spread it out over the next couple of weeks, but we’d like to wrap it all up by June 1st.”

Supporting the Rotary Foundation is one of the most significant acts a Rotarian can perform. The funds raised support thousands of projects around the globe. Make your commitment today. Send your check to BBRC, PO Box 3003, Bellevue WA 98009-3003; or bring the check to this Friday’s meeting; or ask the cashier to use the magic of plastic at the cashier’s desk. Let’s face it — it’s not easy trying to get 115 people to see the light. So, have pity on Don, Don and Dick, and help them reach the goal Every Member, Every Year!
