Raffle Update
The figures are in as October marks the beginning of the end of the raffle. Kevin Jewell reports the total take is $52,100, generally half-way to the goal.
Mary Bell continues to lead all sellers with $6,130. Other individual producers include:
Bill Spencer, $2,000; Norm Johnson, $1,922; Peter Powell, $1,670; Tom Purdy, $1,550; Howard Johnson, $1,400; Jim Young, $1,250; Chuck Barnes, $1,220; John Martinka, $1,195; Jim Gordon, $1,132; Kim Shrader, $1,055; Tom Smith, $1,015; and Don Deasy, Brian Heimbigner, Kevin Jewell, Dick Clarke, Rick Klobucher, Carlene Buty, Colly Radford all at $1,000!
As far as the Battle of the Bands goes, John DeWater’s Seven Big Bands have logged $28,834 to keep their edge of 55% on their competitors, the Steve Lingenbrink-led Symphonic Sales Crew, who has 45% and a total of $23,266.
In Band competition, Crowed House has $8,070 to lead the pack, followed by the Newbie Brothers – and Sisters – with $5,072. Jay and the Rotarians have banked $4,775, followed by Sharon and the MoonDogs with $4,420; and The Beattles with $4,390.
October 31 is the final day of sales and turn in, so the end of the raffle is in sight. Keep your appointments to occupy selling spots on the weekends and keep collecting those nice contributions from people who love Godfather’s Pizza!!
