President Evison opened the meeting, thanking Past President Sharon Edberg for standing in his absence the week before. Brian started a new tradition by presenting Sharon with a gift!

David Bolson gave the invocation and led the pledge to the flag. John DeWater, greeted three visiting Rotarians including Frank Buty, Bellevue; and Doreen Cato and Steve McCraw, Seattle 4.

Great to see both Jeff Cashman and Earl Falk in attendance Friday. Both are recovering nicely with the help of new treatments.

Ernie Hayden, not only showing prowess as a photographer, is a runner too, reporting that he represented the BBRC at the Issaquah Rotary’s Salmon Days Run, beating his previous time by one minute, 15 seconds. Was there a tailwind, Ernie?

Chuck Barnes reported that the Dale Hemphill Memorial Fund has reached $2,500 with contributions from members of the BBRC. Any member who would like to contribute should contact Chuck.
