President Brian, fresh from a gig in Portland at the District Conference, introduced Jay Powers to deliver the invocation and lead the pledge to the flag. Jenny Andrews greeted

Five visiting Rotarians were introduced: Phil Miollis, Longview Early Edition Club; Roger Bair, and Jerry Adams, Mercer Island Rotary; Bruce Jones, Seattle #4; Jim Tillman, University; and Warren Hall Crain, Emerald City Rotary Club.

At the Cashier’s Desk was Rich Hammond. Taking Attendance was Bob Vallat.

President Brian showed off the various citations the club earned for service during the past year. The emblems were awarded during the previous week’s District Conference.

The club was reminded by John Martinka to save the date of Friday, June 25, for that’s evening’s Rotating the Wheels dinner at the Columbia Crest Winery in Woodinville. Invitations will be in your hands soon.

Member Travels

Chuck Barnes and wife, Judy, are visiting family in Evanston, IL. The Barneses are getting acquainted with Sabrina Katherine Barnes, born on April 28. Sabrina is the first child for Greg and Mary Barnes. She weighed in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces. Chuck and Judy have five grandchildren, 3 girls and two boys!

Jim and Katie Owens are off to California visiting grandchildren.
