Friday Potpourri
President Kim opened the meeting with an introduction of new member Cyril Faulkner who gave the invocation and led the pledge to the flag. Shelley Noble greeted four visiting Rotarians and orchestrated the introduction of several guests of Rotarians.
Visiting Rotarians included Jim Gordon, Redmond; Jim Hebert, Bellevue; Tom Eckhart, Bellevue; John Wallace, Issaquah.
Chuck Barnes, Foundation Committee Chairperson, commended members who served a shift at the Iron Lung display at Bellevue Square March 1-2. Particularly singled out was John Hague, who pulled two shifts, one on Saturday and another on Sunday.

Vital Statistics
A thumbnail sketch of the BBRC shows there are 116 active members today, with 109 of them having Ordinary memberships (that means you are loved and revered by all – actually, all of you are Extraordinary members of the BBRC!). Seven of our members are exempt from attendance for a variety of leave situations. The average age of the club is 53.
