Raffle Update
Entering the month of October (the last full month of Raffle sales), the Club has neared the halfway mark in sales. Raffle Treasurer Kevin Jewell’s latest report shows total miles racked up by all the Worldly Affair teams is 49,393 (put a dollar sign in front of that to see how many dollars this represents). With a goal of $110,000, you can see where we are as the raffle moves to a conclusion on November 1.
Europe-Antarctica, led by Don Deasy, continues to lead with 57% (28,145) of the collections, as opposed to Jim Zidar’s Americas-Pacific group, in at 43% (21,248).
Team leaders for E-A continues to be Team Scotland, chaired by Doug Cameron with 5,870 miles. Leader for the A-P group is Team Japan, chaired by Sayoko Powell, with 5,218.
The individual leader board puts Mary Bell atop the race with 2,600, followed by Norm Johnson at 2,320. Others with 1,000 miles or more include Earl Falk, Colly Radford, Kim Shrader, Chuck Barnes, Howard Johnson, Jim Zidar, and Tom Smith, Steve Goldfarb, Craig Groshart, Daniel Feussner, Rick Klobucher, Cary Kopczynski, Carlene Buty, Dick Tschetter, Jim Young, Ted Szatrowski, Kevin Jewell, Steve Lingenbrink, and Don Deasy.
