Earl Falk, BBRC Representative to the RFH Board of Directors, reminded members of the monthly work party at Pier 91 in Seattle on Saturday, October 12. “We really need all the help we can get. This is harvest time and there is a bountiful crop to be distributed.”
Earl also announced the formation of RFH Harvest Partners, which gives Rotarians the option of giving a donation in 12 automatic monthly gifts instead of as a single donation. Those who choose to use this method of support are dubbed “Harvest Partners.” Initially, RFH is shooting for five Rotarians from each club to join this program. Funding by this method will provide RFH with a more stable, predictiable source of income, which gives them a better handle on budgeting expenses.
An authorization form is easy to fill out. Being a Harvest Partner is recognized by a certificate, coupons for free tribute cards, and other membership benefits. Rotarians have two options: to have the donated funds automatically deducted from your bank account or charged to a credit card. Beacon Financial Group, a reputable Rotarian-owned company will process the gifts from bank accounts. A donor may cancel this arrangement at any time or change the level of support.
