Greetings to the BBRC, and thanks for the sendoff!
So far, we have had a ball driving cross country.
We headed south to Sacramento and were supposed to turn right to Palm Springs … but turned left to Las Vegas (The Bellaggio – Wow!), then on to Santa Fe (I thought it was supposed to be hot and dusty, but it was 7,200 feet with snow), then on to Louisiana.
We were going to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, but got sidetracked in Lafayette/New Iberia/Avery Island … went to parades, parties, and the most beautiful swamp (Lake Martin – egrets, herons, ibis, gators, etc.)
