Foundation Committee Chairperson Steve Roberts accepts check from Treasurer John Martinka.

Show Time for Endowment
Treasurer John Martinka introduced Steve Roberts, Chairman of the Foundation Committee, to accept a check of $11,400, proceeds from the recently concluded BBRC Raffle. Steve explained that 10% of the Raffle booty has been earmarked each year for the BBRC Foundation Endowment. Roberts accepted the check and will bank it in the Seattle Foundation, which manages our Endowment, which now boasts a new total of $79,000. The goal is to continue “to grow the Endowment to where it reaches $150,000 before annual earned interest would be pledged to fund worthwhile charities.” Gifts to the BBRC Endowment are tax deductible.
