Powell Gets Badge
Sayoko Powell, a new member since her induction on November 30, was called forward. The President said, “She’s been gunning for Rotarian of The Month, which is admirable, but instead, she gets her blue badge and permanent membership!”
Sayoko has just returned from a trip to Japan, where she made up at the Osaka Sonezaki Rotary Club. It’s a club founded by women, with two thirds of its members being women. She brought with her a beautiful banner from the OSRC.
