Student of the Month

Truog, Holert
Bob Holert introduces Student of the Month Kent Truog.

It’s that time of the year again, when the BBRC introduces students from area high schools to receive our Student-of-the-Month plaque.

Bob Holert, back for another year of presentations, inaugurated the Goldfarb era by calling on Kent Truog of Sammamish High School. Kent currently serves as the Associated Student Body President and was Junior Class President and captain of the track team.

Taking the microphone, Kent said, “I’m an energized guy! I’ll be enrolling in Emerson College in Boston next year to focus on communications. I have a passion for music. I’ve enjoyed serving on Congresswoman Jennifer Dunn’s Youth Advisory Council. You guys are pretty cool; you guys do a lot of good stuff. I hope I can realize my dream to be an MTV DJ.”

Congratulations to Kent and good BBRC greetings for a bright future!
