Wendi Olds (now Fischer) was the recipient of the booty from the Sergeant At Arms on Friday. Everybody put a dollar
on the table as a wedding gift to Wendi!

Lorraine Gunderson got the meeting rolling with a scripture reading from First Corinthians, followed by the flag salute. Wendi Olds (the last time you’ll see that last
name in print) greeted two visiting Rotarians and other guests.
It was Old Home Week, as two former members visited the club. Maura O’Brien, an active Rotarian during the early ’90’s, returned for a visit. Carol Hoeft also was
present, with an eye to returning to membership.
Don Chandler pitched the crowd for attendance at the annual “Rotating The Wheels Banquet.” This year’s function will take place at the General Petroleum Museum, 1526 Bellevue Avenue,
Seattle. Reception begins at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00, with entertainment to follow. Chandler notes the dress is “very casual attire.” All members
are invited to share in honoring President John DeWater’s administration and welcoming the new term of incoming president Cary Kopczynski. Cost is $30.00 per person.
