Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully. By using bbrc.net (the “Site”), you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These terms are an agreement between you and the Rotary Club of Bellevue Breakfast (“BBRC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

About This Site
The Site provides information about BBRC — who we are, when and where we meet, and how to get involved. It also lets visitors contact us, make donations, and lets members pay dues and event fees. The Site is informational and administrative. It is not a place to obtain professional advice of any kind.

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to submit a form or make a payment through the Site. By doing so, you represent that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate.

Meeting and Event Information
We try to keep meeting times, locations, and event details current, but they change. Details posted on the Site may be out of date, and meetings may be rescheduled, relocated, or cancelled. Before traveling to a meeting for the first time, we recommend contacting us at clubadmin@bbrc.net to confirm.

Attending a meeting as a guest does not create membership or any obligation on either side.

Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form
• Submit payment information you are not authorized to use
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected system
• Interfere with the Site’s operation, including by introducing malware or automated scraping tools
• Harvest email addresses or other contact information from the Site
• Use our name, logo, or content to imply endorsement or affiliation without our written permission

We may restrict access to the Site or remove content at our discretion.

Payments And Donations
All payments and donations made through the Site are processed by PayPal. Your payment is subject to PayPal’s terms of service and privacy policy in addition to these terms. We do not receive or store your card or bank details.

Donations made through this Site are received by the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club Foundation, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, EIN 91-1465118. Donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We provide written acknowledgment of your donation on request — email clubadmin@bbrc.net.

The Rotary Club of Bellevue Breakfast is a separate organization under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code, EIN 27-0841016. Membership dues and club payments are made to the club and are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions.

Donations to the Foundation are final and non-refundable, except in the case of a duplicate payment or an administrative error. If you believe you donated in error or in the wrong amount, contact clubadmin@bbrc.net and we will review the request in good faith.

Dues and pre-billed meeting meal fees are non-refundable once billed or after the billing cycle cutoff has passed. Pro-rated adjustments on resignation or a formal leave of absence require approval from the board or the treasurer.

Payment forms on this Site are accessible by link and do not require a login, so please confirm you are submitting the correct form and amount before paying. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may ask you to resubmit it.

Registrations, sponsorships, and race entries are non-refundable. Unused registration fees are treated as a contribution toward the beneficiary programs of that event.

Some of our fundraisers and public events are registered and paid for through third-party ticketing and registration platforms rather than through this Site. When you sign up through one of those platforms, your transaction is governed by that platform’s terms of service, privacy policy, and refund policy in addition to these terms. We do not control those platforms and cannot issue refunds on their behalf. If you have a question about a registration made through a third-party platform, email clubadmin@bbrc.net and we will point you in the right direction.

For ticketed internal or social functions, refund eligibility is determined event by event, depending on whether venue catering and seat counts have already been finalized and committed. Contact the treasurer at clubadmin@bbrc.net.

Intellectual Property
The content on this Site — text, images, graphics, and layout — is owned by BBRC or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, redistribute, or use our content commercially without our written permission.

The Rotary name, the Rotary emblem, and related marks are the property of Rotary International and are used by the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club under license as a chartered club. Nothing on this Site grants you any right to use those marks.

Information You Submit To Us
When you send us a message through the Site, you are responsible for its content. Do not send us confidential or sensitive information through the contact form. By submitting a message, you grant us permission to use it for the purpose of responding to you and administering the club.

If you send us suggestions or ideas, we may use them without obligation or compensation to you.

Third-Party Links
The Site links to websites we do not control, including PayPal and Rotary International. We provide those links for convenience. We do not endorse and are not responsible for their content, terms, or practices.

Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that the information on it is complete, current, or accurate. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, financial, tax, or professional advice.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Washington law, BBRC and its officers, directors, members, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site, including lost data or lost profits, even if we have been advised of the possibility.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Site will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us through the Site in the twelve months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold BBRC and its officers, directors, members, and volunteers harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Site or your breach of these terms.

Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.

Change To These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when we post them, and we will update the effective date at the top of the page. Your continued use of the Site after we post changes means you accept them.

Governing Law and Venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these terms or the Site must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.

Entire Agreement
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and BBRC regarding the Site.
