Lara Kammereck

Background

Lara Kammereck, P.E., is a Senior Vice President and Senior Project Manager at Carollo Engineers, a firm specializing in water and wastewater engineering, where she works out of the Bellevue office. A municipal planning specialist with more than 25 years of experience, her work centers on water resource management and infrastructure planning for public agencies. She holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Gonzaga University and has been active in the regional water sector, including leading the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association’s Women of Water Summit.

“Coming to Terms with Climate Change”

Ms. Kammereck will address climate change from the perspective of the people who plan and build public infrastructure. Her work in this area has covered emergency response planning, the respective roles of gray and green infrastructure, and how a community’s state of preparedness depends heavily on local conditions.
