x0815HeyOur speaker Friday was Ken Hey from Sunstream Boat Lifts.  Ken has created a very successful company that can lift boats in and out of the water quickly and easily. Ken talked to us about some of the challenges facing the boating industry.

 

Concerning trends over the last few decades:

Tightening environmental concerns

Moorage waiting lists

Marinas and boatyards selling out to developers

Moorage costs increasing quickly
