Friday Potpourri After a welcome from President Johnson, Steve Peters stepped forward to deliver the invocation and lead the pledge to the flag. Jim Zidar greeted a nice group of visiting Rotarians: Tom Ranken, University Sunrise; Kemper Freeman and Leland Tang, Bellevue; Bill Courtney, Shoreline; Larry Greenblatt, Issaquah; and Val Guerin, Kirkland. Centennial Notes: President Norm once again thanked Sayoko Powell and Wendi Fischer for their superb orchestration of the BBRC 19th Anniversary Dinner, November 12. A round of applause further echoed the sentiments of the membership. |
