This is a banner program. Bring a guest along, perhaps a prospective member. 7:00 buffet breakfast at the Glendale Country Club, 140th & Main St, Bellevue. (Cameron)

Nearly 50% of the membership has entered their new data in the BBRC’s Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Directory. If you haven’t visited the Member’s Only section, do so today, follow the instructions, fill out the form (remember to move around the form by using the “Tab” key) and after completing your work, click on the “Submit” button ONLY ONCE!

The Fourth Quarter (in Rotary terms) is 1/3 done. This is a critical quarter, because it’s signals the final 90 days of the Rotary Year. If you want your Paul Harris contribution to count, you need to have your check to Don Chandler or Don Deasy or Dick Brown no later than May 31. If you’re on the club’s PH Pledge program, be sure to clear your account as soon as possible so your payment will be made to RI. Do this today! And thanks!

x0502JennyAndrews Jenny Andrews was looking for a Rotarian sans Rotary pin. It seems someone found a “squished Rotary pin” in the parking lot. There were no takers. Sometimes, silence is golden ... at least you get to keep the gold!

Carlene Buty was recognized as Campaign Coordinator of the Year for United Way, an honor received for her great work on behalf of last year’s campaign. Carlene missed the dinner honoring her service — “I was in Hawaii” — so she paid $12.00 for the notoriety.

Our own Chris Monger was seen by several members (Isn’t that amazing? With 70some channels, isn’t that interesting that a couple of us were tuned to THAT channel?) being touted as a satisfied user of the Leaf Guard gutter system. At least we know that Chris doesn’t have to scrape leaves out of his gutters anymore. He was fined $10 for not wearing his Rotary pin on TV.
