Bellevue Christian Student of the Month: After a flurry of activity surrounding a missing plaque, Tom Miller introduced February Student of the Month Jason Ericson, a senior at Bellevue Christian, where he has been on the National Honor Roll for three years, and where he recently distinguished himself as a National Merit Finalist. Along with his scholastic achievements, Jason has a flair and passion for playing guitar and for music composition, and he frequently shares his talents with his church. His community service highlight was a challenging, but rewarding, week-long camp with special needs Native Canadian children at a location way up north. Jason plans to attend the UW next year, where he hopes to follow his love for music by majoring in composition. His parents, Gary and Trisha, and Bellevue Christian Principal Bill Saystrom proudly accompanied Jason to our breakfast to see him receive his award. What was the issue with the missing plaque? Tom Millers brief intro filled in for Bob Holert, who was picking up the pesky plaque that had unfortunately remained at home during his first journey to Glendale Friday morning. |
