Student of the Month: Derek Chan

October’s Student of the Month is Bellevue Christian senior Derek Chan.

Derek’s proud father captures the ceremony.

Larry May introduced Derek, who sports a 4.0 grade point average, participates in choir and soccer and has been a Red Cross volunteer. Derek praised his choir director who has “inspired me to seek leadership and be a servant.” Derek also praised the BBRC for recognizing students for what they do.

Derek will attend Seattle University next fall.
