Classification Talk: Rich Hammond

Rich Hammond

Richard “Rich” Hammond was called upon to give his Classification Talk on Friday. Joining the BBRC in early February, Rich holds the classification of “Airline Analyst.” He is regional director of Marketing for the Boeing Company. His sponsor is Brian Evison.

Rich earned a BS in Accounting, attending Oregon, Washington, and Portland State University. He was a financial analyst for Delta Airlines in Portland and Los Angeles. He was recruited by Boeing to his present job in April of 2001. He and his wife, Regina, and two boys, Joel and Zachary, live in Sammamish. “I’m happy to be back in the Northwest. I looked for an avenue to give back to the community. The BBRC fits the bill!” Rich was introduced to the Club by playing in the 2002 Golf Outing. He worked on promoting this year’s Outing and is currently one of the new cashiers under Treasurer John Smolke. Rich has pitched right in and is making a difference for the BBRC.
