Cyril Faulkner (R) greets Steve Luplow. |
Friday Potpourri
President Brian was back at his post, thanking Don Deasy and Cary Kopczynski for filling in. He was most appreciative of the cards, thoughts, and prayers during his mother’s illness.
Cyril Faulkner gave the invocation and led the pledge to the flag. Nick Paget greeted Rotarians Mike Hendrickson and Kemper Freeman, both from the Rotary Club of Bellevue; Stan Foster and Steve McGraw, from Seattle #4.

Phil Salvatori
|
Phil Salvatori, who championed a successful effort to purchase wheelchairs for people in need in Sierra Leone last year, has been offered part of a shipment of wheelchairs destined for distribution in Washington. The Puyallup Rotary Club has purchased a container of 280 chairs, 10 or 15 of which will be available if we can find a need for them. The stipulation is that the wheelchairs have to go to individuals. If you know of someone who could use a wheelchair, contact Phil.
