Leavenworth Getaway

The second annual journey over the mountains took place June 13-14, when a contingent of Bellevue Breakfast Rotarians kept the faith with their fellow Rotarians in Leavenworth. It appeared that a whole new cast of characters attended this year’s outing, which is a good way to spread the goodwill around to all members of the club.

Thanks to Bob and Esther Moloney for their hard work in coordinating all the details and to our hosts Tony and Marcia Banks for opening up their “ranch” for another fine reception.

After joining the Bankses along the Icicle River, the group adjourned to the Red Tail Canyon Farm for a barbecue dinner and rubbing elbows with the Leavenworth Rotary Club. An overnight stay in local lodges opened up a visit to downtown Leavenworth Saturday morning, which severely depleted the bank accounts of several BBRC members.
