A Trip to Stanley
A brief week-long trip to Idaho to open the cabin for family vacations brought a series of interesting weather phenomena. There was a three-hour thunder/lightning/downpour on the farm, temperatures of 105 in Boise plunging to 26 overnight at Stanley, and snow the morning of June 22. The Salmon River was running high and there was still snow to come off the high mountains. So, maybe predictions of drought will be forestalled by the late winter and wet spring. Going north through Moscow, the crops have never looked better. Saw a few Vandals on our trip!
