Sarah Schaeffer Student of the Month
Nick Paget introduced the March S-O-T-M from Sammamish High School, Sarah Schaeffer, who was accompanied by her mother to Fridays meeting. Sarah has a 3.92 GPA, is varsity tennis captain, editor of the yearbook, and works at the Bellevue Club as lifeguard. Sarah is a 2nd semester senior at Sammamish, taking such courses as Literature, Spanish, Leadership, and Physics. For the past two summers Sarah has worked at a summer camp as a counselor, racking up lots of community service hours. In the future, Sarah hopes to go to Israel to study in Jerusalem. She plans to enroll later at George Washington University, where she will major in international studies, with an emphasis on the Middle East.
