Sergeant At Arms Kicks Off the New Year
 John Martinka, with “the article.”
|
John Martinka spun his magic Friday morning, noting an article about “Environmentally pleasing Armstrong Floors” which Kim Shrader took an interest in. Apparently this was for information only, because no fine was levied. Kim said, “I’d like to see the article.”
Brian Evison spent valuable minutes looking for his lost badge. Seems it dropped to the floor on the occasion of the Holiday Breakfast, and it was rescued by someone who turned it in to the cashier. Jeff Maxwell, Cashier du Jour, got the badge back to its rightful owner – for a price of $2.00.
Scott Hildebrand announced a major academic achievement: “I passed the ‘Baby Bar’ in a California law course.” This is the prelude to further coursework which would result in a law degree. Martinka asked Scott what value he would put on an item from Albert Ltd. The audience said, “Priceless!” Dick Brown said, “Probably10% of priceless is limitless.” Scott’s father-in-law is former BBRC member Dan Brzusek. Scott, the budding lawyer, was fined $10.
