Anniversary Dinner a Winner! By Ace-On-the-Scene Reporter Mark Hough
One hundred fifteen people gathered at the Harbor Club Friday night in Bellevue to salute the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club’s 17th Anniversary.
President Kim Shrader called the meeting to order, and Norm Johnson gave the invocation. Special guests included District 5030 Governor Rosemary Aragon and her husband, Luis; founding member Norris Bevan and his wife, Meta Lou; and friends of Sadru Kabani, Zul Alibhai and his wife, Radhida Alibhai. Zul is Past President of a Rotary Club in Nairobi, Kenya, and his son is Karim Alibhai, a dentist living in Bellevue.
Rosemary Aragon recognized Jim Owens, Margie Burnett, and Kim Shrader for their participation on the polio immunization program in Ethiopia. MORE

I want to thank Howard Johnson, Chris Monger, Nacho, Steve Peters, and Alex Rule for volunteering for my Eagle Scout project.
The day was a huge success. We planted 150 trees and shrubs and cut down blackberry bushes.
Thanks again, Jake Luplow
