President Steve Goldfarb

To start the new Rotary Year, President Goldfarb couldn’t get the microphone to work and shouted out his greetings, causing apoplexy by Don Chandler in the front row. Andrew Face was called upon to deliver the invocation, and he knew how to turn the mike on. Vince Lorrain greeted three visiting Rotarians, including former BBRC member Marlys Anderson, now of Scottsdale (gee whiz, it’s hot down there), Arizona.

Two dates loom on the summer calendar for fellowshipping Rotarians. Steve Lingenfellow, taking over as Club Service I Director, announced a visit to one of the new clubs in District 5030 on Tuesday, July 24. The plan is to carpool for the 5:45 p.m. meeting, which will count as a make-up.
