Rick Klobucher gives a Foundation report
|
Rick Klobucher, BBRC Foundation Director, gave an update on the activities of his area of
expertise. In addition to overseeing the Club's efforts for the Rotary Foundation (Paul Harris Sustaining and Fellowships), Rick also mentioned the Rotary International Permanent
Fund, which is an endowment fund. "The BBRC also operates its own foundation, a 501 [c] [3] charitable entity. And, now, the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club has its own Endowment
Fund, managed by the Seattle Foundation. The initial Endowment amount was $21,437, thanks in large part to a generous gift of $11,000 from Paul and Amy Juul. The current balance is $62,886.
Bill Sperling, Ddirector of the Seattle Foundation will appear this week to give more specifics to our Endowment report." |
