Most of the BBRC Speed Croquet Team showed up at the Red Hook Brewery in Woodinville this past week for the Bellevue Sunrise Rotary Club’s Fifth Annual Croquet Tournament. While the BBRC Team wasn’t a
winner, it did survive the first two rounds of competition with improving times. Brian Heimbigner and Bob McKorkle
(early favorites in this week’s Best Legs Contest) were key to the Team’s good showing, ably supported by Lynne Gauthier and her daughter Katie. Wally Mahoney
provided outstanding moral, reportorial, and beer-drinking support.

THE MALICIOUS MISSCHEFS There were other contestants – about 130, as a matter of fact (up from about 90
last year), and I believe the “Malicious MissChiefs” (a bunch of women) probably won, for the third time in the last four years!
