While our Editor in Chief is busy bussing around the British Isles, Yours Truly was pressed into service to accept a present on his behalf. Wally Mahoney’s daughter Jean and her
children are in town visiting from New York (specifically from Lon Gisland where Jean teaches 7th grade English). Jean brought with her a Lon Gisland potato, specifically for Mr. Mix, to
show him what a really good potato looks and tastes like.
Don Chandler reported that our Thai exchange student, Pakpoom Sae-Jung, will be arriving at SeaTac Airport on August 15. If you are available to help greet Pakpoom, please contact Don. Also, BBRC is still looking for a host family during the Spring.
