 YWCA Receives Support

Liz Mills & Scott Sadler
Liz Mills accepts $4,000 check on behalf of YWCA Family Village, as Community  Service chair Scott Sadler stands by.

Liz Mills, Executive Director of the Eastside YWCA , sponsors of Family Village in Redmond, was presented a check for $4,000 to fund parenting classes for clients of the Village. Two five-session classes over a two-year period will help new parents learn how to best raise their children.

A video, produced by KOMO-TV, showed how the Family Village helps to give single parents a fighting chance to make it on their own. Family Village has been a recipient of BBRC generosity several times in the last few years. Scott Sadler, Chairperson of the Community Service Committee, presented the grant.
