Past District Governor Dick Clarke
announces the formation of a District Leadership Academy, a year-long course that promises to produce leaders of the future for Rotary. Clarke says, “Most Rotarians learn about Rotary through participation in their club activities, without reading much of the available Rotary literature. With that in mind, we have developed a Rotary information Correspondence Course for any member who wants to improve their knowledge of Rotary so they can be an effective club/district leader.”
Open/download and print the registration form at right; complete and return it with your payment by the closing deadline for enrollment, June 20, 2000.
The curriculum consists of ten correspondence lessons. In addition to completing these lessons, the participants will meet three times during the next Rotary year to evaluate the course and to celebrate graduation on June 6, 2001. Registration fee is $75.00 for the course materials. Make checks payable to "Rotary District 5030" and mail the completed form to Dick Clarke, 6853 18th Avenue N.E., Seattle, WA 98115-6848.
