After a two-month blitz about attendance and
participation at the Club’s annual planning retreat, President-Elect Cary Kopczynski announced final plans for this week’s event. Seven golf foursomes are set to tee
off at 12:15 Friday afternoon at Port Ludlow. The format is a scramble, with prizes being awarded by the committee, chaired by Chuck Barnes.
The Friday evening schedule includes a reception in the Chart Room, followed by dinner, golf awards, and entertainment. The traditional fun
portion of the retreat will begin around 9:00 p.m., lasting until the wee hours.
On Saturday, after a breakfast buffet at 7:00 a.m., the retreat’s general session begins at 8:00 a.m., with breakout sessions beginning at 8:30.
This goes until 11:00 a.m, when the group moves back into general session to consider what directions the Club will take in the coming year.
A box lunch awaits each member at noon and the annual mad dash to the ferries begins.
