Sergeant At Arms Corner NCO Ballard set up that old favorite To Tell The Truth using Andrew Face as his stooge. Andrew made four statements, one of which was not true: 1. He sang the National Anthem before a major league baseball game. 2. While in college, he won a BMW 528 and a trip to Munich to pick it up. 3. He wrote three parodies in the following order for BBRC: (a) Strawberry Fundraisers Never; (b) Goldfarb is the Guy With Diamonds; (c) Tickets to Buy. 4. His daughter performed two seasons with the Pacific Northwest Ballets rendition of The Nutcracker. Sergeant Ballard also introduced a new wrinkle by hopping from table to table and making someone at each table pick a card numbered 1, 2, or 3, which set the price for a wrong answer to the game. Both Officer Ballard and Andrew Face are tricky devils. The wrong answer was No. 2, but it was only because the BMW Andrew won was a 325, not a model 528. Wendi Fischer gets impressive credit for that win. The rest of the tables went down in flames.
