Friday Potpourri

With President Steve Lingenbrink presiding, Kelly Nolan delivered the invocation and pledge, and Chris Monger greeted visiting Rotarians and guests.

Peter Powell and Howard Johnson confirmed that the raffle got off to a good start last weekend with super sales at the Bellevue Art Fair. Selling sites are available on the BBRC website at least five weeks out.

The next day for participating in a Rotary First Harvest Work Party is this Saturday, August 13, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Bring a friend or members of your family and help sort out all kinds of food for the hungry. Contact Howard Johnson for directions to Pier 91 in Seattle. Remember: members attending receive credit for a make-up!

Don Chandler delivered a Rotary Foundation update and presented Bill Spencer with his second Sapphire Award. All BBRCers are urged to make a commitment to the Rotary Foundation, which can be done right here online at the BBRC website!
