ADMIN CORNER

Back in the corner again, with some information for a group of members whose billing statements contained incorrect tallies. The computer insisted on bringing a balance forward and it took some time to ferret out the problems. The corrected list will be available at the Cashier’s desk beginning this Friday, August 5. Consult with the cashier before you pay your bill. If you require a new statement, please contact John Mix and your command will be my wish

SeaFair New Member Mixer

Beginning about 11:00 am, boats started to gather at the beautiful home of Molly and Peter Powell on Lake Washington. At the same time, cars full of Rotarians began to pull up from the land side of their home as well.  By 11:30, the boats of Lingenbrink, Peterson, White, and Powell, along with the beautiful 34 ft Cobalt from Seattle Boat Company, were full and on their way to watch the Blue Angels.  The weather was perfect.

The BBRC Rotarians and guests were treated to a 45 minute air show that was 1/2 the low show and 1/2 the high show, as the clouds broke part way through.  Then it was back to the Powell Residence to join up with more Rotarians from the New Member Mixer.

Fantastic food, drinks, fellowship, swimming and fun was the order of the day for these members and their families: Wendi Fischer, Tom Harrelson, Greg Hendershott, Steve Walter, Brian Evison, Steve Peters, Chris Monger, Steve Bender, Tom Smith, Ruben Ladlad, Chuck Barnes, Margie Burnett, Rod Kippen, Chris Ballard, Kevin Jewel, Jim Kindsvater, Bill Brooks, Andrew Face, Kim Shrader, Chris Monger, Steve Waltar, Don Chandler, Jane Kuekle, Jim Gordon, Peter Powell, Steve Lingenbrink, Terry Peterson , Steve White, Tom Helbling.  More than 70 people (including kids) attended this wonderful event and enjoyed the hospitality of the Powells and their lovely home and pool.  It was a resounding success.

The BBRC extends a hearty thank you to the Powells for opening their home to the BBRC, making this the most-attended BBRC "Social" in our history.
